Let's focus on God.
Ephesians 5:8-10New International Version (NIV)
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord
God calls us to live for Him. In order to be "children of the light" we have to focus on things good, right and truthful. Our thoughts, our actions, our lives must be reflective of this. What do you watch on tv? What music do you listen to you? What websites do you visit? What books do you read?
That all might seem trivial, but what you take in, that fills your heart and that is what comes out of you. So take some time today and think this over. Are you pleasing the Lord with your life choices? Are you being a child of the light?
