Sunday

Our vacation time has come to an end. Abigail is the only one who slept last night. Mr. Stone decided he did not like his accommodations and woke up almost every hour on the hour. There is no coffee here (making note for next year to bring my own) so I am more than a little tired right now.

In an effort to not think on myself but turn my thoughts to my Creator I am focusing on my favorite verses.

Matthew 7:24-27New King James Version (NKJV)

Build on the Rock

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

This is actually the verse Brock and I started our marriage on. We did the sand ceremony but with a twist. We found a rock for each of ourselves and one to represent the Lord. More of that story for another time.

I hope you had a marvelous weekend and are ready for the week ahead. Even though I am beyond tired, I did love all the time with my family.
