Being a Child of God

Jesus needs to be our anchor. We need to sit at His feet, and we need to follow Him. Every day more and more is coming out in the media that is showing how depraved the world is. Three planned parenthood videos are showing murder for profit of babies, I have yet to watch the third, but I have been told by those who have seen it that they can't even finish watching because of how disgusting and horrible it is.

I love the following verse. And though it clearly says children, and when we read it we might think of little kids, God views us as His children, so this verse is for everyone, regardless of age.


1 John 2:28 (NKJV)

²⁸ And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.  

We need to be living (your call to action!) for Him. Loving and serving His people, holding accountable our brothers and sisters, capturing our thoughts and turning to Him. Jesus will be returning, and the earth is showing the signs of the labor pains mentioned in Revelation. When He comes, will you be ashamed or confident before Him?
