Go to Him!

Today I am tired.

Here is my Instagram post from a day or so ago:

For over a week now Stone has sleep regressed. It has been rough, but I am trying to be positive. This is such a small period in time. ‪#‎wontalwaysbelikethis‬ ‪#‎mybabyboy‬ ‪#‎reachingmilestones‬ ‪#‎enjoyingthesecuddles‬ ‪#‎iamtiredthough‬ ‪#‎isitreallyoneam

And sad to say, the saga of a baby not sleeping continues. So I decided to give up coffee, my mindset being maybe I am stimulating him through the caffeine in my breast milk. So far, that is a no, and I have a killer headache while being uber tired.

I am trying to remind myself that this is only a short period of time. It will not last forever. But being sleep deprived is rough when you work full time, have two little's, a dog, a husband, and life in general. This is not a pity party by the way. This is my life. My father is moving in with us and should be on the road here tomorrow. My house is 98 % ready for him, so tonight after work I get to get it 100%. I need to study for giving  my first CPR class on Saturday, laundry is always piling up, and then there is the day to day stuff that is always present.

So instead of focusing on what is going on, I keep trying to turn my focus to God.

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We are instructed that in all we do we need to seek Him first. Go to Him in prayer, go to Him by reading the scriptures. Go to Him!
